The pop singer has proved countless times that you don’t need long hair to party in the USA, although she did look beautiful back then.
So, what triggered her to cut it short?
1. It started at the 2011 MTV VMAs
Okay, I may be cheating a little bit here but this was the first time I got a glimpse of what Miley looks like with short-length hair. Quite frankly, I think she was surprised too by how gorgeous she looked in this tied-back updo.
Since this “accidental experiment” photo was taken, it was on!
2. Bye Bye, Hannah Montana
It could be age or other factors, but Miley was determined to ditch the Hannah Montana image by going with this undercut pixie look.
This boyish hairstyle was truly refreshing and I loved every inch of it!
3. It’s Messy and It’s Blonde
Whether the singer left her hairspray at home is completely irrelevant here because messy and blonde “do” mix.
4. Devil’s Daughter
If the Devil is real and he has big horns and a daughter, then she’ll probably look like Miley Cyrus. Just check out those mini horns on her head and the power it gave her in that famous “Tweaking” MTV performance. (you know which one)

I never thought I would say this but Miley actually looks like a businesswoman in this short swept-up look. The platinum blonde color with dark roots gave a clean, tidy, and professional vibe.

This hairstyle reminded me of David Beckham during his prime. So why did Miley choose this faux hawk haircut?
Personally, I think it is brave and edgy which, really, is what the pop star is about. If she can’t bend it like Beckham, at least she can sing it…and better too!
